Dutchers Diner | Our Story
A car-themed diner on West Main
We're a small-town diner in Avon Park, Florida, with racing posters on the walls and breakfast on the menu all day. Come in whenever you're hungry.
The room
Look up and you'll find a Sebring 2011 race poster, model cars on the shelves and car and bike memorabilia all around. The classic rock is playing, and it gets people swapping stories.
Breakfast, any hour
Eggs, grits and biscuits aren't just for the morning here. Get the biscuits and gravy: the biscuits are homemade, and the sausage gravy goes over them.
Lunch from the same kitchen
The full menu runs all day, so you can follow breakfast with a country fried steak, a Philly cheesesteak, a burger, or liver and onions with mashed potatoes and green beans. There's a salad bar too.
The people
John Dutcher is the owner, and he comes out to say hello. Some folks stop in Saturday after Saturday, and our team is glad to see them.
Passing through town
If you're in town for the Sebring races, come in for breakfast, since we serve it all day. And veterans, ask about the military discount.
